Senator Al Franken Has A History of Joking About Rape

Creepy Al Franken has come under fire by both Republicans and Democrats alike this week. Pictures have surfaced showing him pretending to grope a sleeping Playboy model and actually groping a very awake Arianna Huffington. A little research by yours truly has unearthed more evidence of his repulsive ways. Let’s take a look back to this 2008 article by the Twin Cities Pioneer Press, detailing an SNL writers meeting when Al Franken joked about rape;

The Republican Party’s latest release from the archives of Democratic Senate candidate Al Franken’s past is a 13-year-old New York Magazine description of a Saturday Night Live writers’ meeting.

During the meeting, writers are brainstorming about how to develop a sketch in which one of the actors plays “60 Minutes” commentator Andy Rooney, who finds an empty pill bottle in his desk.

According to the article, Franken’s suggestion includes Rooney saying: “I give the pills to Leslie Stahl. Then when Leslie is passed out, I take her to the closet and rape her. Or ‘That’s why you never see Lesley until February. Or, ‘When she passes out. I put her in various positions and take pictures of her.’ ”

Now, I’m not a fan of censoring the humor utilized by comedians. In fact, many comedians are avoiding performing at universities because overly-sensitive students have become triggered by their jokes. However, given the image above, where  Franken is actually doing exactly what he suggested in that SNL meeting one can’t help but wonder if that story is indicative of his true character.  The fact that Al Franken joked about rape in the past provides damning evidence that female members of the SNL cast, who voiced their support for the beleaguered Senator earlier today, are nothing more than enablers of a sexual predator. Once again, members of the Degenerate Circus of the Left circle the wagons to protect one of their own sick kind.
